Yeah I tried them... they wear very fast and make a hell of noise.
They are ok for racecars that get rebuild ever 6 months

I am now figuring out coils. I have some used Arnotts to just replace the EAS but they are low especially with the winch on front. I think the OME 766 for the fronts and 762s or 763s for the rear. I have a friend who is selling some RTE springs. Looking at spring rates and length, sounds like RTEs are thicker and roughly equivalent to the 751s in the front and 762s in the rear. Fronts RR4 Front rate: 225 lbs and RR1 Rear rate: 320 lbs both with 2+ inch lift. I would probably need a spacer to lift the front up. Overall, I want a 4 inch lift or 2 inches over the old offroad height.

I have the EAS measurements but left them in the garage... will get those soon...from memory, the offroad height was 20.25 inches and normal height 19inches from center of wheel to fender to lip.

I have seen / sold the toddco bar. It is a stock bar with a new end on it. It is a good option but im holding out for the TF one that is an HD bar with new bushings.

The RTE springs will sit about an inch taller then my Terrafirma lift.

About time.

All I can say is, this thread is outstanding and I'll be following along...hopefully see something on bumpers and snorkel soon (maybe I missed it).

I raised my '98 P38 with OME springs and I'm just over 4" from stock. Ran 275/65/18's Toyo MT's this summer and also had rubbing especially on the driver side front. I have the exact same whine from up front when letting off the throttle/washboard effect as described by an earlier poster - I will be picking up a double cardon drive shaft within a month or two and will report back. Axle's are a little off center now as well.

Love the TerraFirma wheels on your build.

Picture below was my first setup - had to go with some heavier OME springs to get it a little higher. Again, I'll be following along intently.

well I modified the panhard bar an got the axles centered back up ..I cut the bar about 7 in from the top mount then took a piece of 1 in by 8in long round stock slid it inside the panhard bar then aloud for my extra inch of length I need to center the axle back up..then welded everything back up...it got some of the bad vibration out also put in some new u-joints in still got a little vibration but nothing like it was before but I planning to build another front drive shaft with part land Rover part Jeep Cherokee or if I get to lazy may just order one from lucky 8. but still got to get some tires ...I'm sick of looking at those donut looking tires on there an seeing all that frame ready to puts some meat under there
