If you are doing any sort of a lift then the flexdisc coupler on rear driveshaft needs replacing with unijoint , as they dont last long , same as discos . JMHE

I think all the North American trucks came with ujoints. Micro cat is telling me only the diesels with an auto box had the rotoflex

You are feeding the sickness. I really want to build up a P38 for the trails.

I'm sorry... You are infected...

The P38 is great on the trail. Here are a few pics in Death Valley last month:

My buddy blew-out his brandnew GenIII airsprings just before the first obstacle. No more EAS for us...

I told ya,
When it works it is amazing BUT when it fails you are Done

yes...yes... I know. We learned the hard way...

We converted my buddy's to coils a few weeks ago with the Arnott kit and it sits at offroad height. We need to shim the front a bit since he has dual-batteries and extra armor weighing things down. I am holding out for some used springs/shocks from a friend and will be installing them this summer.

I heard that you can use Ford F250 front springs

I do miss my parents old P38, I was always impressed with the trail manners it had. I love my RRC and will not get rid of it. So to convince the wife is the hard part. I have enjoyed your pics with your rig.

I am eagerly waiting for Justin to start throwing on parts on his P38. I am very interested in what Terrafirma is producing for the P38.

My plans for my truck by the end of the year include shocks/springs [ :( ] , 32 or 33 inch tires (only achieved with springs), adjustable panhard bar, dual batteries, permanent HAM (using handheld right now), permanent 120v via converter, and hopefully metal rear bumper with tire carrier, converting EAS system to onboard air system.

My rear bumper got crunched pretty bad on a big obstacle in Death Valley last month. nice trail damage...

Pipe-dream: Detroit Truetracs front and rear, upgraded driveshafts...
