Love the trailer! Great job. Have you done anything with the Engel Fridge to protect it from dust and such? Still working good anyways?

Really outstanding build, thanks for documenting it here for us!

I read all 15 pages and didn't find one item -- how did you tie the tent frame supports to the tub? I thought maybe you went through the tub and tied into the frame, but then saw on a later page where you pulled the tub and extended the tongue, so didn't appear it was welded through the tub.

I am planning a similar build with a Bantam T3C and my wife has requested to be able to get at the gear without leaving the tent vestibule, so a lift-top design is out. A frame like you've built will satisfy that, I'm thinking maybe canvas sides on the frame as well to help keep dust and dirt out of the trailer. Or a tonneau cover like you built.

Thanks again!!

Thanks for the compliments! The tent frame is bolted thru the tub and trailer frame up in the front. At the rear where the tail gate is the tub is riveted to the tent frame as well as bolted thru the trailer frame. I like having the rack/slide out and the multiple uses the tent frame provides. I have seen a few use the canvas sides. The tonneau cover I did has been holding up great. I do not need to take it off the trailer in order to access anything. I am able to reach everything from the rear of the trailer. Good luck on your build!

Thanks! I'm thinking it weighs between 1500-2000lbs, but that is only a guess because I have not officially weighed it yet. As far as the fridge and fuel on the tongue I have not had any problems. It tows perfect and I like the easy accessibility of the fridge.

great build, very nice work...so!! how much does it weigh in at and how does the fridge and fuel weight on tongue affect you?
