:(

And what good would a table be... if it were not level !? :p

M100sparetiremountrevised45.jpg

More plastic caps... :D
this one is so... it mars the paint less... was hoping anyways.

M100sparetiremountrevised42.jpg

If you can see it... there's a plastic cap for the topside of the upright as well...

and the horizontal is purposely high on center of the center chunk, so that I would have room for an added truss support @ 45* from the vertical riser to the horizontal.
Tho'.. don't think I'll need that... will likely do it anyways. ;)

M100sparetiremountrevised59.jpg

^ Just need to finish up the welding...
and make tabs, then drill holes thru those and the upright near it's base, so that an 1/2" barbell hitch lock or Farmex pin can secure the spare in it's upright position.
Likely mess with that tomorrow... while I'm finishing up the final welds of the mount.

Maybe some more plastic caps for the mounts open ends near the draw bars... Got a little more detail work to do there... clean those up a little...
meh... details, details... should come out in the wash. ;)

Landing Leg replacement/extension.

* wish to thank Mark (Mr Tacomi @ ttora) for offering a replacement LL and mailing that to me... in complete faith and trust of my integrity.
I had no problems modifying the LL for my needs, and didn't have to mod/ruin the original to accomplish this LL extension.
Thanks Mark !

Any idea what the weight's at now?
I really haven't thought much about it...

Maybe 120 #'s with the RTT and Lid combo...
40 #'s for the spare...
another 20 - 30 #'s or so for the other and misc.

So I'd come to guess it's under 200 #'s added.

Please post up with your vendor for the plastic end caps.

It's hard copying your build when I can't find the parts. :):victory::)

Edit: is this what your using?
http://www.mcmaster.com/#push-in-plugs/=9i99rm

no... but those might do...

I'm using the cheapo caps that are found at most local wrought iron fence supplier's, mfg's.

So yer on yer own to find a vendor online or one local to u.

I wanna see this copy , yer :chef: up !?

youtube links:

Rolled the junk ~n~ trailer combo thru Pinyon Trail, here in SoCal with some other trail ho's. LoL ;)
It did damn good... and never required a strap... the whole trail :)

how she faired...

The M 100 trailered great on 'er very first moderate trail...
and I dragged 'er thru, like a Ho' on crack ! :D

in doing so... added a few scrapes and a slight inward bend to the fender lip...
otherwise... there was no real carnage to 'er...

Driver's side... banged and rubbed up a little against the wall, thru the "Squeeze"
causing the fender and hinge to lose a little paint... (the lower scrape was from later down the trail, descending "the Drop Off")

PinyonSqueezecarnage0.jpg

PinyonSqueezecarnage1.jpg

The passenger side only lost a little paint off it's taillight housing.

bumpsandbrusiesfromPinyonTrail2.jpg

well... that's about all this Pinyon Trail could muster in retaliation ;)
