M100 propane tank external mount

I've been building my expedition trailer for an upcoming UT trip and for my everhopeful copper canyon journey that I always think about. I needed to get the propane tank from the inside to the outside of the trailer. I couldn't find any mounts that I liked so I decided to fab my own. I used a quick fist to do the final clamping. I welded square 1/4" iron tabs at the base to keep it from sliding and installed nutzerts to hold the quickfist in place.

I've got another thread going here about my rear trailer leg install for those interested. Details of the build are on my website listed in my sig.

That looks great!

Nice and solid, how does the quick fist hold it? Is it rock solid? Or does it wiggle a little bit?

The quickfist is solid. I do however have the base snugged in with the 1/4" bar tabs I built and the posts that hold the quickfists also double as the rear support. I put a couple of pieces of sticky foam on them so it wouldn't rattle. I tried to make the quickfist grip slightly above the centerline. I still need to run a locking cable from the tank to the trailer for a just in case.
