(Edited) So I did some research on this idea. Ain’t happening.
The inner bearing 25580 is common on almost all axels 3500 lb + It’s a 1 3/4” diameter.
The Outer bearing 2585 is a 9k lb axel bearing. A hub for this size spindle is about $500, and probably only comes in 8x6.5 bolt pattern. So $1k for hubs.
I find it interesting that the military would use a 9k lb bearing on a 3k trailer. It’s like they know, and want to screw with us intentionally!
I also ordered an axle for mine. 5200 lb, 65” to run HWMVV wheels now, and to allow for widening the wheelwell in the future while switching to a different wheel.
