M416 Hardware Detail

Has anyone compiled a detailed list of all hardware needed including where it goes?

My M416 had a hodgepodge of nuts & bolts of incorrect sizes including both SAE & Metric. Repairs and mods are almost done. Then it gets blasted, painted, and reassembled.

I dunno... I saw that thing on a lot of posts like this when I was putting mine back together and I have to say in many cases it was not all that helpful. When I get home I think I have a list of the hardware that I bought somewhere. Ill see if it seems useful and possible to post here.

Not that the army technical manual isn’t an awesome resource... it totally is indispensable but it’s almost too much and it uses part numbers and stuff that require more research to find their modern day equivalents. It was written when the thing was new so is great for understanding what should be there.
