Mexico is a yearly (at least) trip for me. I'd still like to find some time to do some exploring on the bike, but I try to stay during the more temperate, and not 120 F times, which means spring and fall work best.

I'll head back in October, but it's a family vacation to a beach house in Puerto Penasco....

So what you are saying is that back in the 70's, I wouldn't have been blowing down it at 50mph in a short wheelbase jeep? :smiley_drive:

This was before it was ever graded. The big challenge was called the Three Sisters which was by-passed when they graded they road. Some of the local 2 WD vehicles might take several days to make that journey. If you came across one broken down on the trail, it could cost you many hours getting around or helping out.
