as mentioned by a number of people, great build and much appreciated in sharing your progress.. You did discuss security and did say that you didn't want to go overboard and have to hide.. Sometimes you can hide in plain sight. As a person who has worked in many camping areas, the number one theft item (read: easy to sell and valuable) was always generators. Obviously, it would take quite an effort for a thief to remove yours but might want to make the box look like something else. Like a black water tank.. Painting it up, maybe adding a few decals in various languages, a fake tank outlet..anything to move the person away from an item of interest. I can't think of anything else that this concept might work with but there might be.. Other travelers may have some ideas like this..

here's one for fun..

Thank you for your suggestion, which seems very wise. :ylsmoke: I already had in mind to remove the original stickers (because they look ugly !), I'll see how to make the generator as discreet as possible.

As usual, you'll get more details and pictures on our blog (in English). More importantly, there is also a little video :Wow1: showing the mobile bed in action ! With the appropriate tool, it takes less than 50 seconds moving the bed from one extreme position to the other. :sombrero:

Globally, We are very pleased with the progress of work and its overall quality. Can't wait for the next visit !

This is a brilliant build. Thank you SO much for sharing it with us! So many people build these things and never share their knowledge with others. It has been wonderful to read along and learn from your experiences.

Regards,
Brian

It's plywood, marine grade. Mainly 1.5 cm thick, with some panels 1 and 2 cm thick.

Looking forward to trip reports!
First trial run planned for the first week of November. :smiley_drive:

Looking good!
Thanks ;)
