Master Craft seats, anyone using?

Hello again, well as we know all good things come to an end. I know one day in the future my 4Runner seats will split open pouring there guts into the floor. This will be a sad day because I really like them. They are comfy, and supportive and great for long distance driving. I have come to the crossroad of either replacing like for like or upgrading. I have read the Corbeau seats don't hold up, PRP doesn't make a reclining model that I'm aware of, there a after market jeep seat manufacturer that makes something similar and I sat in it and it was OK. I know of Master Crafts reputation and they make a good product. My question is who here is using them? Specifically the BAJA RS.

The Mastercrafts are awesome, but because of a bro deal I have the Beard +2s and love them.

I had the first set of the Mastercraft Rubicon seats in the "Carbon" pattern that Robbie sold to the public. His own tj had the prototypes. I put over 20,000 miles on those seats. They were comfortable and very supportive (Even with a prior back surgery and waiting on the second). I would not hesitate to get them again, only this time they would be the Baja RS. Those weren't yet offered in 04. He even made them a custom color for me.

I have beard seats and I really like them. I think they offer a reclining suspension seat now as well. DO a search for redart that is the parent company.

Robbie at Mastercraft builds a great seat! We pit for him in Baja and have seen his equiptment in use for a long time. Everything he builds is top notch and quality. Im not saying the other mfg.s arnt good quality, I just know first hand about Mastercraft. He also has great customer svc. I highly suggest Mastercraft. Bob

We have the baja recliners in our rubicon and live them. they are a very tight fit and i did some mods on the install to lower the drivers and to move the passengers forward.

Thanks for the info and pics guys.......

The Mastercraft recliners seem to be the only seat that I like, ( when the LJ's seats wear out of course ;) ).

How tight is the fit?? .....I have added some rollcage bars and room is tight already........thanks again..

tight fit?

there is no extra room in our 04 rubicon. the fixed end of the seat belts are tight, as in they sometimes hang up on the tuffy center unit. you might want to email robbie at master craft for measurements etc. he is the owner and a great guy and will be able to answer any questions you have.

I'll measure just so I have a heads up but there should be enough room in the 4Runner. Though glad you brought it up that could be a major PIA down the road.
