Just sharing what I stumbled across: no association, blah, blah, blah.

http://www.max4rv.com/index.html

Copied from their web page.

Standard Four Wheel Drive
The Max4 switches from 2WD to 4WD in a snap for tackling winter snow, mountain roads, muddy conditions, off road trails, slick boat ramps and more. It is equipped with a torsion bar 4WD system based on the same system used on Ford's pick-ups and full-size SUVs. This system allows the front wheels to move up and down independently providing a smoother ride, better handling and an increase in turning radius.

Agree...nothing on the web page looks to original art. I'm not in the market but I'm sure someone will reach out to validate. Good advice to proceed with caution.

Interesting - in the specs they say:

New Venture 2-speed transfer case

4-point torque arm with track bar suspension

Adapter for rear wheels to accept new bolt pattern

Single lever shift controls for front axle engage, high-neutral-low range

It says "Dana front axle with 4.10 ratio" also, interesting... No pics of an actual product to sell though.

2105 Ford Transit Van - $40,325
This price is for the all standard Ford Transit features shown in our specifications section.

Max4 Conversion Package - $47,580
This price is for all standard Conversion Package features shown in our specifications section.

Total Max4 Price - $87,905 (not including sales tax, title fees, licensing fees and destination charges)

"2105 Transit Van" thats about how long it would take me to pay for it. In my opinion this is way to much money for an underpowered top heavy POS. I think I'll stick with the E-series. Interesting find though, I'd be interested to see what it looks like from underneath, "Dana front axle" leads you to believe its a solid from axle but I don't see how that would fit with them sitting low like they are in the photos.

If this isn't a scam but a real product... That price is cheap compared to a Sportsmobile E series with 4x4 and would be great for US and Europe. I agree though it seems strange a Dana would fit. I for one am very interested to see how the new Euro style vans evolve in the U.S. Tons of them in Europe.
