@Deleted Member 183, the link you have posted is to 'manage your account', not the ad.

For those of you looking it is here -- https://slo.craigslist.org/cto/d/nipomo-mercedes-turbo-diesel-wagon-1985/7795105173.html

From the Craigslist ad "I also have several unique parts for the W124 wagon that I may sell to the buyer as well!" Does that include a vehicle to weld to the roof? Asking for a friend.

And a bump diddy bump

Just so you know how tough these Mercedes are (besides being 5/7th of all the taxis in 'less-developed' countries) I believed this is a video of Deleted Member 183 leaving a secret Baja surfing spot being chased by Federales in its 'sister' vehicle (a sedan instead of a wagon). A bonus is this wagon has the Bundt wheels, so it probably would not have flipped at the end.

Hopefully @Deleted Member 183 gives us all GPS coordinates to said secret Baja surfing spot and posts them and pictures all over the internet so other "influencers" go there too and post about it.

LOL!!! You guys got me laughing so hard i just about spilled my breakfast Tequila!

Regarding the wagon, after dealing with a "wad" of boneheads that have inquired about the car ( WOW, $2600 for a Mercedes wagon cool! I'm going to hitchhike down to SLO and drive it back to Santa Cruz!) and having to es'plane that project car means it need to be trailer'd away and worked on. I think I may just "tuck it in" and save it for a future project.

I guess being a similar weirdo forward thinking visionary I also think it would be an awesome uber-lowkey expo wagon. Even in 2WD it will go 89.75% of terra firma and 99.96% on anything that passes or passed for a road at one time. And they are everywhere as 'revenue producing vehicles' so still well supported with parts (and 'junkyard spares), with multiple generations of mechanic well versed in their upkeep

Unfortunately conditions of my probation preclude me from acquiring more awesome vehicle

GLWS and hopefully a decrease in bonehead contacts. You would expect boneheads to be contacting you if it had US spec bumpers, but only connoisseurs should be contacting you due to the Euro bumpers.
