Mid Summer Multi Day CO Mtb Trip Interest?

Wondering if anyone is interested in a Multi day self supported mountain bike trip though one of the many Colorado trail networks this summer? I have a few ideas, Colorado Trail, Aspen-Crested Butte via single tracks, Salida area? Utah is fine too. Basically any above average trail systems, maxing single track possibilities. I'm looking for some people who are into riding fast and lighter(skip the trailers and panniers). I have spent a couple of days out bikepacking solo and put in the occasional 6-8hr ride. My set up is pretty good/light using a Carousel Design Works seat bag and a Talon pack(probably add a h-bar bag), Ride a Santa Cruz TallBoy, have 15+yrs wrenching, bit of xc racing and a bit of downhilling in my background. Just about everyone of my riding buddies wants to go out, ride hard and go home or at least back to the truck. It's getting time to ride and thought it would be a good time to put the feelers out. I 'd like to ride with and get to know people a bit before spending a few days together in the thick of it (fun of coarse) I will be in and out of Fruita and Moab this spring and live near Aspen.
Give me a shout if you are interested in any of the above:sombrero:

FWIW Zuk, we do long rides but at snail's pace. I don't have the uber light & fast gear, so I drag my grocery trailer (a BOB) to camp and do huts. It's slower but, meh, life goes by too fast anyway. :) We're trying to pull together a Kokopelli trip in early May, it would be 2 nights most likely. The fast dudes don't even treat this as an overnight...

I didn't mean it to sound like a race pace kind of fast. I do like to ride the fun single track fast but more of a gear set up and leave the kitchen sink at home kind of mentality

that looks fun! but way out of my league. im still interested. im currently laid off, so i plan to get a lot of riding in and get my stamina back. i could still be willing to go, i just dont want to hold anyone back, plus im having my 3rd child in may/june, so that factors in as well.

hey boss!

I am still in A-stan, I redeploy in a few days. I will be in Washington stated for about a month then I am moving to El-Paso. I am really excited, about getting back and riding. What are you looking at doing...3-400 miles or do you just want to fill 3-5 days? My wife is not a rider but could drop us off and pick us up if we want to do a threw ride. I have a Sportsmobile, so getting in or out shouldnt be a problem. Let me know what route your thinking of.
