Missing Contour Lines in Basecamp OSM Topo Maps

I have been working on becoming more and more competent with basecamp, but an issue I keep running into, is that my OSM topo maps that I installed, don't show any contour lines in the software or on my device.

I have checked in options and the settings are there for the contour lines to be displayed, but I'm not having any luck. Basecamp is current, maps are current.

Any thoughts?

Whats your OSM source? not all include contour lines. I get mine from here Africa North OSM Topo Routable | GMapTool and the contour show up in Basecamp at all detail settings, obviously more contours on the higher detail levels

it was the detail settings + area I was looking at in south central. Once I increased to high the lines showed up.
