Hey Steinez, are you replacing the delicious with a VW transporter? If so, what s your reasons for doing so? Cheers, Chilli.

Yes it was replaced. The L300 did get a really worse fuel mileage. The VW is bigger and needs about half the fuel, it also is a TDI. Has also a lot better towing capabilities for towing the Hägglund...

Did you ever do a write up on the Vdub... Since its local to you how much cheaper was it than the L300??
The rear swingout work was sheer genius and a fabulous tutorial.

I gotta ask the same thing! There are some ideas in here im seriously tempted to make use of on my Chevys!
