Overkill if just cooking for 2?

Absolutely not. I cook for just me and my wife on ours all the time. The space is nice so you can cook multiple different foods all at once. The strap on griddle lip is a must have too. You can push the food that gets done up against it to keep it warm. I like to have a hot zone and a warm zone.

For home setups it would be nice to have a cover to prevent having to dismount every time (to prevent rust, etc.). Interested in what others are doing with a home setup.

At home I use a camp chef dual burner stove like Cam has. I keep it in the garage and when I cook I just open the garage door and slide it out a little. If I were to leave it outside I thought about getting a large BBQ grill cover and just throwing it over the whole setup after it has cooled down.

You will love it if you get one, we use it way more than I thought we would at home. Sunday morning breakfasts almost weekly and usually one or twice a week for dinner. Its a blast!

No Overkill!! I use the Mojoe all the time on camping trips with just two people present. Your culinary world opens up large to some amazing dishes not possible with a camp stove and frying pans. How about pizza cooked on your campfire! Bacon, eggs and pancakes cooked in the wink of an eye.

Bottom line: The time it takes to cook your meals is reduced to about 1/3. Clean-up takes 30 seconds, no water required!

The Mojoe is also great for backyard cooking, especially when entertaining. Significantly reduced cooking time and virtually no clean up time are major benefits.

Cam - link to a good Camp Chef 2 burner you recommend? Still torn.

That is a really great question! I've gone through several single burner stoves until I finally found the one that Rocks with the Mojoe! The first thing I learned is don't buy a stove with the "high pressure" 60,000 BTU "torch" burner. This burner is really designed for boiling large pots of water and not much else. What you want is the cast "low pressure" 30,000 BTU "banjo style" burner. You get far better adjustability and a wider flame circle.

I recently purchased a stove/burner that is just made for the Mojoe - especially for overlanders where space is an issue. It is called the "Camp Chef Universal Output Single Burner Stove" It packs up into a 15" x 15" x 8" package and can be used on a table or extended to two different heights by attaching the included set of 13" legs or buying an additional set of legs to bring it up to the perfect cooking height.

Here is the link on Amazon:

As stated above, I highly recommend buying the additional leg extensions. Here is the Amazon link for these:

This stove is light weight, takes very little space and has some serious power for the Mojoe.

Hi Cactus!

The two burner Camp Chef stove that I recommend is the "Explorer" which has two 30,000 BTU burners:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006VORDY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00

This is the stove I usually take on camping trips because I have a full size truck and can take anything I want! The extra burner comes in handy if you want to be cooking in a pot at the same time as you Mojoe. Take a look at my latest video - "Mojoe Baja Fish Tacos":

You can see that I use one burner with the Mojoe to cook the tortillas and corn garnish and the other burner is used by my dutch oven to deep fry the fish. If I am only using the Mojoe, I usually place a cutting board on the unused burner converting that area into a handy side table for seasonings and the next ingredients.

With the legs removed, the Explorer still doesn't take that much space. If you have the space in your rig, I'd go with the Explorer because it can also be used to great effect for outdoor dinner parties in your back yard.

Cam,
I work pretty close to Arcadia, any chance you could PM me a picked up, cash price?

I haven't show the wife yet, but if I show her your videos and make it look like she's getting a deal she'll be all in.

Thanks

Edit: Prices on Bag and strap too please.

just the other day, I realized that asking for a (lower) cash price is kind of an insult.
(hint: supporting design and manufacturing in the USA s kind of priceless, so you should mentally prepare yourself for the long haul.
