Nothing mechanically cool about it. No 2000s have the locker.

Near as i can tell, it's a paint color and badges.

What paint color? I've seen them in all sorts of colors. A lot of red, one green.

My understanding is that in 2000 the previous "winter" package changed to the "endeavor" package. I think it would have headlight washers, heated front seats, leather, multi cd changer in the back, maybe chrome wheels and/or adjustable shocks. As stated, no 2000 monteros had the locker option. My understanding is adding the locker from a 98-99 is fairly straight-forward.

That's correct, except for the adjustable shocks. I have one of these but don't have adjustable shocks. But I do know the chrome wheeled monteros had adjustable shocks.

The pictures in the ad. don't show a ton of detail, but it doesn't look like there's any damage.

First time I'd seen this particular CL ad. I'm down in Galveston, and don't normally look at the Dallas ads. Maybe I should.
