I have a pretty serious oil leak currently. I thought it was the rear main seal as it has been weeping a bit for the last two years. I figured out today, fortunately, that it is the passenger valve cover gasket that is leaking pretty bad.

MUCH easier fix, I was looking forward to the rear main seal. I also have a small power steering leak that I haven't been able to track down, maybe when I have the valve cover off.

My tires have just about 50,000 mikes on them and I expect to get another 15,000 the way they have been wearing. I may need to replace them before next winter. Still very happy with them in all aspects.

I've got the same thing, although both gaskets are leaking. I tightened down the passenger side bolts a bit more but were unable to get all the driverside bolts as the intake header is in the way. I was able to minimize the leak though.

Funny thing is I've also got a power steering leak, but its leaking from the base of the reservoir. I can't pinpoint where the leak is but its squealing everytime I turn left.

Based on my look yesterday I think my reservoir might also be leaking. Funny how we have the same issues.

I could attempt to tighten the cover butbibdobt want to crack it, and its leaking pretty good.

Bummer. I did about a half turn on all the screws and it seemed to help. If its leaking that bad you might just have a bad gasket. Shouldn't be too difficult to change out.
