How can I resize this pic...?

What would make the Nukizer even coolER would be if it had those tire pressure controller system in it, I can't remember what that thing is called. Military trucks have them. In the cab there is a control panel, and each different button is a pres-set air pressure. So if you are on the highway, you'd hit the pavement button. On the beach you'd hit the sand button, and so on. And it would inflate or deflate the tires to an appropriate pressure automatically. I don't know why I think the Nukizer needs that, it just does.

Most H1s are equipped with a Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS), which enables the driver to increase or decrease the tire air pressure at will- since lower tire pressures are more suited for off road, and higher tire pressures are desirable on-road.

I believe that's what you were talking about?

I hate to hate on jeeps, but I think I rather find a land rover pickup. The Nukizer is very cool, but if I had a choice between the two I'd got with the rover.

That pic is a little too big for my 15" laptop screen at work. It should look good on my 19" at home though :sombrero:

I'd take this front clip on a std JK for sure!

Interesting. Why?

I have zero interest in owning a series LR. What is the draw in your case compared to this show truck (which will never see production)?

If that ever went into production (like that's goin' to happen ) I would dump either the Tundra or the Unlimited or maybe both in a heartbeat to have that ride in my driveway.

X2. I've been around enough Rovers in my life to know that they are pretty much the most over rated 4x4 on the market.

The older ones are cool in the same way an old Bronco, Scout or military Jeeps are cool but I would never want to own one.

I don't really know why I guess, the Land Rover pickups just are more appealing to me. The old Kaiser jeeps do have the rep of being bullet proof and indestructible, but there is just another level of prestige with the land rover pickups. An AEV Brute on the other hand, if I could get a hold of one of those (either completed, or a good wrangler and the Brute kit to do it myself) that would be another story. It would be bye-bye XJ and bye-bye Harley.

Yeah, that's the thing with LRs... they have this built up marketing BS filter around them that makes them seem perceived as more than they are. This "prestige" thing is a North American thing btw...

That's not to say that a series LR isn't a cool vehicle in its own right but they are not mystical/magical trucks.

Have you ever seen the Discovery Channel series called "A 4x4 is born?" Watch it if you can. After seeing how these things go together I'm really "meh" on them.

I'd much rather have a FSJ pickup personally and am pretty content with my MJ.

An MJ would be pretty nice too, its a pickup but still familiar for XJ people. I guess the prestige I see in Land Rovers is because you always see these big long expeditions in the deserts or the Australian outback and they have various models of Land Rovers, so its mostly the association of those vehicles and that kind of adventure. I know my cherokee could do anything a Rover could, its just the image that comes to mind when you think "Sahara expedition".
