These were designed to hug the front fascia and get rid of the gap that our Dozer and Cliffhanger bumpers have.

Who you callin' stupid? hahacliff hanger, KISS
Don't worry, its not going anywhere! haha.I like the pre runner:elkgrin: Confused??? I love your jeep. DON'T sell it again!
Love the Jeep ... for what you've got going; I'm with marshal, keep it clean and understated.
I've really never been a fan of prerunner style bumpers on classic american iron. But maybe that's just me. The Cliffhanger would be my choice because it has the most period-correct look. It looks the most like the bumpers that Warn and Ramsey used to offer back in the day. The winch is mounted lower for better center of gravity too. On the other hand, the Crawler gets the winch out of the mud and off the rocks and would be the choice for more serious 'wheeling. They all have their benefits, but that's my two pennies worth.
Crawler ******. I like the crawler because it appears to have a better approach angle.
I don't like open/tube/pre-runner bumpers either.

Definitely the Crawler bumper.
Definitely the Crawler bumper x2
I wanted to say Cliffhanger right off the bat, to keep the classic lines of the rig. (it's a sweet, sweet rig by the way.)
Spent some time looking at the other pictures on the BJ's website... And I've decided I like the Crawler better, without the hoop. Like this:

Since it's a plate bumper, I'd bet you could get one without light cutouts. (for "period correctness") And since it comes bare steel, you can finish it any way you like.
Also, the website states:
Cliffhanger gap:

Bumpers that look "tucked in" and tight with the body always look better than "universal" bumpers that leave gaps. Of course, the site doesn't have as many pics of the Crawler. It could still have a gnarly gap. Just my $.02
Keep up the good work.
