That disco is going to look good on the trails. I bet those pizza cutters give great traction. :smiley_drive:

uuuhhh. where's the 300TDi thread?!

DUDE! BURN!!!!!!!!!!:ar15::bowdown:

You got me there!

Truth be known, I dropped my D1 off at a shop to have an experienced 300tdi mechanic put it in. I was all ready to do it myself, but my wife was not happy with losing her garage for such a long time........There is a little more to the story, but I won't go into it here.

I promise not to bug you guys about the updates anymore. I just like seeing photos and reading your posts. I've done all the work SO FAR on my D1 myself, but the 300 conversion just made me a little bit nervous.

I will go stand in the corner!

It is all good man. Bug all you want. My only real update is the new (used hubs) came in for my 97 disco. Installed a used window ecu in the 97 and my Dad stopped by Expedition Exchange to buy me some stuff while he is in LA. Oh and I am about to put my BFGs on tonight b/c I don't want to wear out my XZLs on the road.

It is the little things that count

I put my BFG MTs in the 235/85 flavor back on and my truck seems to go faster since they do not weigh as much as my XZLs which is great for the street even though they are louder... Also while my dad was in LA this week I had him stop by and say hey to Expedition Exchange and pick a few little things up for me.

Hmmm this looks really horribly bad and unreliable...

Looks great. A couple of questions: what is the current source for XZL's, and what GM fuel pump did you use? Did you use it for cost/availability/dependbility, or all three?

Thanks

Michaels on this board got me the XZLs ( I am currently tempted to sell for a RTE front bumper or a full 3in. RTE lift with the correct front DS). The GM fuel pump is out of a 96 chevy impala and there is a writeup on dweb for it. I love the XZLs even though they are considerbly heavier than my other set of tires and wheels and so far the GM fuel pump has been great. I think I may have 3k or 4k miles on the fuel pump as I installed it at the begining of summer.
