Time to test the canvass. Storms here for the next three days. Nothing like a thunderstorm to perform a leak test! Fingers crossed!

Welp, round 1 of leak tests complete. Heavier rain comes tonight and tomorrow so we will see. I noticed that i did not allow a rain channel to drain excess water off the front. So im getting small pooling goin on. Nothing big but enough i dont like.

After three days of rain i had a few minor leaks from a few of the seams. I havent siliconed the seams yet so it was expected. All in all i am very pleased. The rain sock and the tarps kept the rain off in high winds and my use of the leving legs allowed me to direct the water where i wanted it to go. I was also getting some wicking on the bottom of a cpl zippers. I mulled over using water proof zippers but my corner radius were to tight. Not to worry though it was very minor and was caused by high winds driving the rain past the zipper guards. All in all very happy with it.

Thanks guys. The real test of this beast will come next year during ELK camp in Colorado. There the weather is cold, and during bow hunting season, wet! When we finally get enough time to take it out camping I will give ya an update to the things that worked well, and the things that I need to change. There are bound to be things that need changing. lol

Not sure if I missed it in the thread....but where did you move to in the state of Texas? I would love to see this thing first hand. I am starting my trailer build after the first of the year.

Excellent work. Thanks for sharing.
