My Gen 2.5 Journey, a build thread.

I was at the shop late last night trying to get some work done on the Monty. The front diff is installed, with all new ball joints, and axles have new boots.. I also got the compressor mounted, I deleted the cruise control and it now sits in that location.

I still need to plum and wire everything, that should get done tomorrow. Hoping to have it ready for Big Bear this weekend!

Sorry for the late reply. We spent the weekend in Big Bear. Thanks, it still has a way to go, but its becoming capable. I’m very happy with the front locker, should definitely be on the list.

No lift, just some turns on the torsions.

The wheels are Method 17x8, true beedlocks. Tires are a 35 equivalent. They will go on after some suspension changes.

I have been dealing with a voltage drop issue. The battery, and charging system wiring was a mess. So I figured it was time to clean things up a bit.

Charging system is now perfect!

The terminals are PepBoys specials. The fuse box is from a MK4 Jetta. Only $50 in parts, I think it worked out great.

I did not save the # after searching for it on this forum. They came from one of my wholesale vendors through my shop.

Amazon’s also has them, just search the #.
