My JK Introducton and progress

New to the forum and just started some mods on my Jeep and with the future expo on the mind I thought I'd jump in and introduce myself and my Jeep. So HI EVERYONE!!

I'm currently planning my first in depth road trip, a week long, from Chicago, IL (home) to Woodstock, GA and back. I'm going to try to hit a handful of off road parks and trails as well as camp almost every night. I'll be crashing at my gramp's house in GA for a night or two.

Yeah small world for sure, usually when I tell people where my grandpa lives I have to tell them 'Atlanta' so they have an idea.

Do you regear for the 35's?

Be interesting to see how the 3.6l handles the 35s. Hopefully you got one of the few with 3.73 gears instead of 3.21. But it looks good!

We moved to SoCal last summer and I just tell everyone Atlanta. Can't wait to get back there this summer!

Septu - It's an auto and I haven't re-geared, I'm getting the AEV Procal and going to see how much that affects the mpg's, if it's not too bad I might not re-gear.

justin - I would trade you for either city's climate in a heartbeat. I absolutely LOVE Chicago but this weather is enough to make you crazy!

How bad is it?

I wouldn't be expecting too much of a difference. While waiting for my JK to arrive, I test drove a sport (auto) with 32s and 3.21s. Found that to be too high. Not unbearable, but noticeable - especially after my JK arrived (4.10s and 32s) and I could see/experience the difference.
