Hopefully, my son is almost 5 months old so might try a couple overnighter's up the pass later in the year with him and see how it goes. Mainly need to see how much more junk has to come along with us. I was able to pop the tent out though and all looked good, no mold, no mice so we are good to go!

He will love it! My daughter is 3 now and has been camping since 3 months old. See has been asking when we are going camping all winter now. There is some extra stuff to bring but not too bad.

My grand daughter is three, and we are going on a major camping trip in June. She has been several times, but this one involves kayaking and horse back riding. Can hardly wait.

You can't use your son's age as an excuse. He'll have a blast. This pic is from our first outing with our trailer and our 5 month old TWINS! Dinfinitely had to pack more gear for the kids but just strapped them in the carseats to sleep. Worked great! This is what I woke up to.

As you can see my trailer was loaded a little taller than yours would allow with the lid. But that was for me, my wife and 4 kids and our Welsh Corgi.

Good to hear from you guys. About another month or so and we will be back out there! If we can get out this snow/rain weather we are having and get a little sun I will get the tent opened back up so "YoungSven" can mess around in there.

Damned kids, always have an answer. Snow, Snow, I just got home, just got about 14 inches at the pass before my house. Still snowing and Cal Trans is stuck in the middle of the pass. Faithful little FJ drove right by about 40 stuck on the ice and snow, waved at the highway patrolman as he was telling me to stop, alas could not hear him. They are all still up there and will be for hours. Sunny SoCal my bottom.

That is a great picture box rocket, almost asks where is my breakfast without a sound.

awesome build! can u post a couple pics or info on the tongue coupler? also what exactly is the length on the trailer now...if ya had to do it over would you go shorter or longer?

thanks, i should be getting a m416 next week. your's is what im aiming for.
