Sold the Tacoma but fefore I did I warrantied two tires that had some big cuts in them for some new KM2's so I kept those for the trailer. Now having the 4runner which I will probably keep the factory 5spokes and some 255 Maxxis Bighorns I might do the same for the trailer but for now these will have to do:)

Nice trailer. Have you towed it with the 4Runner yet?

Not yet. Well I did pull it around front to swap wheels. I'm hopefully starting the bumper build on the runner this week, the stock tow bar is way to low on the runner for my hitch setup.

Could you give dims or part numbers for the axle, brakes and controller. They seem to be just what my build is needing! Thank you.

Cheers!

Can you give me some more details on your drain plugs? Mine are pretty bad off, rusted and need to be replaced. Did you weld in new ones or are these just the plug portion?

Great build by the way!

Thanks,

Mike

I cut out the old original plugs since they were toast. Cleaned up the holes and got some rubber tub plugs from HomeDepot. They work great and are super cheap.

No, it is an old early 50's un-insulated home :)

Little update on the trailer. Painted it silver to match the runner, as close as I could get in a spray can. If the paint doesn't hold up over the winter I will probably re-do it and match the color better.

Spend the money and do the color match Toyota paint.....

You will be much happier!

When you coming down to Moab with this setup?

;)

I will see on Monday what 3 cans of color match cost.

Looking like next year for a Moab run. Still some goodies on the rig like a winch :)

It looks like you did a great job. I'm on my current trailer search now....1 year and counting:rolleyes:

Definitely keeping an eye on your trailer for future reference.

Haven't even had the trailer out for over a year now with how busy I have been lately except wheeling it over to the new house. Finally had someone buy the 33x10.5's that were on it but didn't want the rims so I kept them and went with some 31x10.5x15 Hankook Dynapro ATm's so match up closely to the 4Runner. These are about the same size just a touch shorter, plus I took it out yesterday for a spin and it pulls nicer and feels like it rolls better.
