Doesn't matter what model, it is still a Jeep. Remember what my tagline says.

your tagline is the real deal lol. I just spent about 1.5 grand on my Cherokee and you cant even tell lol. damn. I just put in a welded 8.25 and swapped out my 35. took me way too long. and breaks are still crap. lol

a friend of mine procured 2 steel doors from his old work, and is gonna give me one. it is hollow, so it is probably 16g sheets on either side. im gonna use it for the cover. now I need a design to use. I like the angle to flat style, or lifted to flat. but im still unsure.

so my uncle had 2 pieces of 4x8 foot particle boards just sitting around, and I decided to make myself a lid for it. gonna brace it and paint it with silicone house paint, then cover it with rustoleum olive drab. its a working temporary lid. so whatever lol. not gonna be intricate, but it will work for a little bit. maybe a month or 2 lol.

well I cant decide what kind of weather striping to use.......rubber foam, or regular foam. I don't see a difference really.

today was my state patrol inspection on the trailer. failed because my tires were sticking about 6 inches out past the fenders, and I need mud flaps.....stupid crap. now I gotta figure out how im gonna widen my fenders 6 inches....I hate this state sometimes

Two main types of foam: closed cell and open cell. Open cell holds water, closed cell not so much.

You will have a tough time finding real rubber foam other than a place like McMaster Carr. Rubber is the better than polyurethane.

State trailer inspection? Good grief don't the bureaucrats have anything else they can do?
How about putting the original wheels back on for that?
Then build spacers for the fenders where they bolt up to the trailer? Add longer bolts and bingo. Legal again!

lol im just gonna throw the old tires on and add mudflaps. after the inspection ill put the tires back on. and im trying to figure out how I wanna do the fenders, without destroying the integrity of the stock fenders.
