A small tread for the presentation of my Jeep rescued from the scrapyard in August 2017...

A lot of things have been done before starting the overland preparation of my Jeep...

Gearbox rebuild, engine, transfer, axles, rust treatment and many others... ?

Once I had everything mechanically correct, I could start the preparation as I went along...
Knowing that this Jeep is my Daily and that I drive more than 30'000kms per year with it in France and Belgium for my work… ☺

Two drawers, one for the kitchen, the second for the storage of photo and video equipment… and two closets to store sleeping bags and camping gear…

It's very nice of you, but we each have our own vehicles, me my Jeep and my friend leaves with his Pajero 2

Thanks, yes it's a little nod to the Mopar BigBlock color... I tried to make the paint color as close as possible

Yesterday I started the disassembly the rear bumper,

Monday it's the reception of the steel bumper plates, and I will start the assembly next weekend ?

There are some minor touch-ups to do, but it's going well...

A new day on the rear bumper project...

I wanted to finish today to send it to the sandblasting, metallization and painting...

But too many things to do for the finishing... Filling the small welding holes with pointing, and sanding the whole thing...

If I make it in series, I'll think about modifying it on the plan to be able to bend it and limit the welds ?

Some news about the steel bumper...

Last week, I finished the weldings and brought the finish to the bumper...

I was late to finish the wheel carrier and the jerry can carrier...

So the bumper was painted and on Saturday I installed it and finished the two jerry can / wheel carrier to paint them...
