Are you supposed to have the fridge tilted on it's side like that? Also, what's your plan for when that thing kills your battery from running all night? Are you going to switch to sleeping on the other side of the vehicle?

Pic shows it like this plus it can get air. I will most likely sleep on other side which will work better for my ribs anyways

Rode a Tiger 800 across most of Sams TAT last August, wished many times for the slightly modified FJ I left sitting in my driveway. Look forward to your report...Colorado passes will be interesting so early in season. Supplies are plentiful although it may be smart to carry more than the days needs.

I plan on spending lots of time in Colorado. Most of my trip will be exploring around the area.

DAY 1

Okay today is the day I'm finally leaving here is a short video I put together of the first day. I will be meeting with an uncle tomorrow morning in Nashville. I will write about the first day then.

Day one was pretty good, some how another my maps got messed up and one leg of TN was not showing on GPS East of Chattanooga. I will say that I had my timing way off and was expecting to have mostly paved roads but naw!! Still good fun mostly gravel roads with some rocky patches a few water crossings nothing major.

Stopped by this little general store to get a "thunder dog"

I drove on until about 1230am after not seeing the leg I needed to be on and no camp grounds also needing gas I decided to head out of Trail into town and stayed at a Walmart which was horrible now I'm driving to Nashville. Once I have lunch with my uncle the only other time crunch is Colorado on April 20th

What speed are you doing on that? 17 seems lower than you need for that, but if it's muddy and you are going pretty slow that's good

Check the sticker in the drivers door jam for max inflation. Keep it at or below that. I have the TG tires on my Tundra and they get slippy fast on clay mud. Every tire does. Dropping pressure won't make a huge difference and based on your overall journey I wouldn't drop pressure unless I was stuck or very concerned about a section. If you drop much under 5 psi you will want to reinflate when the mud ends which is a pain without on-board air.
