You know I've heard of the strip down deal and it just doesn't make any damn sense!! I may try tonight. I have a military sleeping bag.If I was in your place I'd have a -30" sleeping bag to sleep in. Strip to your sleeping garment of choice and crawl into the bag. It's difficult to stay warm with all your clothes on.
Tip: Roll up your clothes and put them in the bag with you. They'll be as warm as you are when it's time to get dressed.
I am enjoying your trip very much. Thanks for posting it up.
Yeah I did this last night and it worked well. Minus the fart sack, bro ID kill my clothes!!!Sounds like you're having a great time. Ditto on keeping your clothes in your sleeping bag. I used to do that in the army! I would strip down to my skivvies roll my uniform up and keep it in the fart sack with me. In the morning nice and toasty!
Funny someone else on the other forum said the same thing!!I've really enjoyed following your trip. Your mission today is to eat something halfway healthy, or at least pick up some Crestor...:sombrero::sombrero:
Yes those have been on the wish list. I also asked Smittybilt about theirs before they shut me down!!Maxtrax are a great addition to a recovery kit. I've used them in two feet of snow while wheeling in Colorado. Those are critical especially when you're out on your own without any kind of winch.
