To the op, if you were to downsize to the stock your truck would perform as engineered and IF you went to load range E, though the truck probably didn't come from the factory with them, you wouldn't lose too much performance.
I run Cooper AT3's load range C on a 99' 150 about 30k now, by far the worst and noisiest tires on any truck I've owned.
On the other hand, my wife's 04 trailblazer running the same p rated tire with about 40k have been great.. just saying.
