New 19" All Terrain Tire Option?

Not a bad option. The Cooper ZEON LTZ seems the best AT tire out there, though this is a tad bigger.. Tread looks 1980's to me though.

For 18" rims you can get:

255/65R18 111T
255/70R18 113T
265/60R18 110T
265/65R18 114T
LT265/70R18 124/121S
275/65R18 116T

For the resident techs on the forum, is a load index of 109 acceptable for the LR4? Seems a little on the low end, for some reason I remember Land Rover recommending a L.I. of 110 or higher for this morbidly obese vehicle. It may be plenty for the much lighter new Sport and Range Rover, though. Also, the tread looks an awful lot like the GY Wrangler SilentArmor.

LR3 GVWR = 7121#

7121 / 4 = 1780# per tire or minimum load range 101 (1819#).

2271 * 4 = 9084# GVWR (109) (Toyo Open Country H/T 255/60R19 109H)
2403 * 4 = 9612# GVWR (111) (Toyo Open Country H/T 255/55R19 111V)
2469 * 4 = 9878# GVWR (112)

Update: I quoted these at a local discount tire. They were just over $200 per tire but they will not sell them to me since the load rating is below that of the OEM tires.

I could probably put my LR4 on stands and take just the wheels in and buy them that way but I know this would cause warranty issues.

I'm leaning towards buying the 255/55 Cooper Zeons instead.

I've been riding over Cooper Zeon LTZ and no complaints, but definitely 255 55 r19 is not a good profile for 4x4
