I'll bring this info down here and update with latest info. Has anyone purchased a HM awning from USA? If so, let me have the vendor info.
Thx.
Last year Howling moon 270s also wasn't available in that UK shop where I finally bought it. They told me that shipping from Australia to UK was in progress but finally it arrive to themLast I checked close to a month ago the US dealer Sierra Expeditions was going to bring in Howling moon 270s. I heard the same thing last year, won't hold my breath.
I just ordered it this morning for $599
OVS LT (lighter model) 53lbs
I'm really liking this LT model and was hoping for more coverage on the rear but you can't have everything. The pole-less feature is still looking good to me. Did the vendor give you an ETA?

It's just so small though. If you look at the pictures compared to the normal 270. You can totally go "pole-less" on the larger model too. I've found that my using ratchet straps (instead of the normal buckle straps), I can get the whole thing tight enough to be open without poles with zero problems. The only time I'll put the poles down is if we're staying out overnight or if there's wind/rain.
