New Cargo Management System

 wow, that's clean dude.

I love the incorporation of the sound system. I'd love to include some clean bass to my tunes.

More pictures can answer these questions :)
How is it anchored to the vehicle?

What type of drawer interior dimensions are you left with after the sound system?

Where do you access the compressed air? Or is it just for lockers?

I used the factory bolt locations for the 3rd row seats.... the bars that the seats clipped on to... I found a source for bolts that fit perfectly and were flat headed on MUD.... then I just drilled through the solid 3/4"ply bottom and bolted the whole thing down in 8 places..... this thing will stay in place even if the rig ends up upside down.

I have 10" of depth allocated for the audio gear. Leaving 32" in depth for the drawers. The entire cabinet is 12" tall.... just right to align with the back seats when half down. Should be able to get a double air mattress in now....

There are two quick couplings attached to the system.... one in the front bumper... one under the rig behind the rear bumper... temp location till my rear bumper project is put back on the burner.... Rig came with OEM E-Lockers.

UPDATE.......

Door panels are 99% done. All mounted up.... wired up..... tuned up!! They sound killer!!! And I barely even feel them at my shin. Now I just need to finalize what paint I am going to use.... But either color matched or close to it...... the entire panel and speaker grills will be painted.... the dark grey Line-X is an eyesore against the tan interior... but that is the color loaded into the guy's machine and I wanted them done NOW.... besides.... I had always intended on painting them to match the factory door panel. One other little detail you'll notice.... I am slowly replacing all dome/door lights with LED. I want to be able to run them for long periods of time at night with out draining the batts.... So adhesive backed LED strips are applied just underneath the new panel and are powered by the factory wire harness.....

Here are the pics......

Hello - This is outstanding great work!

If possible I do have a few questions and would love to see more pictures of the build if you have them.

How is it anchored? Are the tie downs just screwed to the plywood? What prep work is required to make the birch plywood suitable for Line-x? Does it have to be primered?

First off..... Thanks for all the compliments..... Never hurts to get a lil reassurance that the job was done well....

Unfortunately I didn't take a whole lot more pics as I went along.... I will put together another post with a few more details if the pics do a decent job showing them.

Tie downs are screwed into the ply wood.... BUT... not that simply. The inner screws are 3" deep and directly into the main structure, the upright wall running the length of the box. The outer screw are through the ply wood and into a small runner just to spread any pressure a little further.

The birch ply is already of such a higher quality that very little needs to be done to it for the Line-X. I bondo'd any/all dimples or any other imperfections, but I think this is just part of my OCD. A good sanding with 150 grit was all that the wood needed after that. Just be sure to ease all corners that will get sprayed. Line-X doesn't do as well on a hard corner, just rounding it a bit will make it last A LOT LONGER. No primer necessary for the wood. I did primer the fiberglass/bondo'd door panels though.

I never thought to look on Ebay for the drawer slides, but a search came back with 1800 hits.
I haven't seen any really heavy duty slides yet, but 100 pounders will work for my next project just fine. :D

I got really lucky.... Rare occasion for the super heavy weight models to show up on eBay. I originally planned to use 200# slides.... but they were still about $100/pair. My cheap-skate tendencies wouldn't let me do it.... Luck presented the 500#'rs for $20 ea!!

I spy a Zapco, nice amps! I am running a 500.1 for the 12" sub and have yet to install a 350.2 for the front Focal components with the little SP4-SL eq.

WOW! Amazing work... I don't know how I missed this original posting. Some manufacturers could take lessons from you.

Someone is going to get a neat set-up; looking forward to see your replacement.
