I use my kitchen set-up too rigorously to ever think of doing that... :Wow1:

What's in the packs then? Are they your kitchen now?

One pack will be used for dry food, one is for the dish soap, cloths, spices, stuff like that that has bee undetermined, one my stove fits into with the extra propane bottles that came with it that are going to last for a long time. And I have not decided what to use the other one for yet, maybe my bug spray and fire stuff and pack at the last minute stuff would be nice.

I still need a picture of your kitchen set up because I can think of how that much space is used. Maybe it is because my home kitchen is 8’x9’ wall to wall that I used to working in tight quarters. Although I am in the middle of a remodel and when I am done it will be 18’x13’ so I need to see how to fill up the space.

I was going to snap a picture this morning and then realized that the kitchen is the side of the trailer that's against the wall... ...have to put both cars outside for that.
I just have one big shelf that's cut in half; it's about 10 inches high and goes back all the way to the wolf boxes. The left side is cut in two again horizontally; the top shelf has a frying pan, griddle, and grill and the bottom shelf holds the stove in a cocoon. The right side has two tupperware tubs; one has coffee & tea essentials and the other has munchies.
That leaves easy access to the rest of the cavity below for chairs, poles, potty, etc.

It's official, the Compact has landed! Arrived safely at our door yesterday.

Looks like it should work out nicely for us. Just need to sort out a couple of minor issues and head out to the bushes for some camping!

Where are your happy guy pictures. :wings:

Where do you live? If close enough we should get together and hit the hills.

I'll get some pics up soon.

We're in Northern California. I have family that live in Colorado though. Once we get the trailer sorted out and get a couple of local trips under our belt we're going to head that way for a visit.

Should be fun to do some camping and see some sights on the way out/back rather than the marathon drive we've done on past trips.

Red - Where in NorCal? I'm in the East SF Bay area. I ran into a guy in Placerville with a Basecamp. We should start a local club! ;-)
