Bees Wax should be easily found at any camping store or the camping section of a department store. It's very common. It may not be actual bees wax, but a "Seam Sealer". They usually place it next to the tents, and the silicone waterproofing treatments, because they know you have to spend a few hundred dollars on waterproofing treatments on a cheap $100 tent. ;)

...should put on the little pin holes that I find in the material?
It depends on the weather you'll be out in.
If you've got the big tarp deployed, it will take a frog-drowner to get you wet. But you will get wet if you don't seal the little stitch holes.
If the tarp's not deployed, rain comes in through the holes if it's at the right angle.
The quantity depends on multiple variables. But even one little drip-drip-drip can ruin your night's sleep if it is falling on your noggin; ask me how I know...

We got back from that trip and sealed every pin-hole that we could find.
But, in all fairness, that was a week of Biblical rain storms.

Did you use the bees wax? Also is that something that you just rub on or do you have to melt it first before it is applied?

rub it on no melting needed :)
the stuff I used to use was in a stick that was about 2 inches tall by about 1 inch and was in a little container

I still have to get some for my setup :)

that water looked pretty deep actually ! :)

I used a liquid that's more like a rubbery glue. It dried a hideous white in some places. You just dripped it on.
Then I heard about the wax...

Went back to the same river crossing this week and the water was much lower. Camped on the other side in a great little spot

Looks like a fun trip.

Tell me a bit about the lights in back though. Did it come that way or did you go a little wild at the parts store?
I have round lights and black bumper.

My lights came like that. I really like the look of the round lights. While we were at camp there were a couple of people that drove by and everyone stares and points at the trailer. it is kind of funny.

My awning over the kitchen worked out well. It is short enought that I can pack it away installed. One thing that I hate is tryng to get the poles in and out of there holder underneath. The licence plate sings out of the way, but the bumper is in the way still because I have 4 extra poles in there. I am wondering if I can cut the bumoer somehow.

I mounted the plate on hinges and used a hole saw to cut a round hole in the bumper. As I was not able to find a grommet to finish it, I improvised and used a length of fuel hose split down the middle and secured it with silicone glue. Looks and works great. Been meaning to take pix. Will get on that.

That is a good idea. I would like to see your pictures.
