New GM Hd?

They do. If I had 70k I think a portion of it would go to a vehicle. But there are so may good uses for that kind of cash. I'm guessing a midlevel version of this 2020 Silverado HD with a diesel would be 70.... Loaded Limited F350 are in the 90's here.... 90 grand... for a truck.... just nuts.

Knowing me, I will keep on fixing my old crap...and squirrel it away somewheres.

That Chevy for sure is an easy $70K...crazy!

Is there a way to generate power in an engine without generating heat? The marine version of the Cummins 6.7 is more powerful than the one in my truck, cooling a marine engine is easier than an OTR engine.A 10 speed trans sounds interesting.

Raw water cooling probably has something to do with that.

She hasn't...what she really wants is my Tacoma, she loves driving it.

Suggested that she can drive the Taco, and me commute in a Subaru, but she doesn't want me in a car with all the heavy truck traffic.

The Forester is one of the last if not the last over built cars sold in America.

Yeah it looks very expensive. I don't mind the front much cuz I'm sure it's like that for a reason but I could do with out the giant CHEVROLET billboard...even though the letters are cutouts to aid with cooling. That would be the first accessory I would design for that truck just to get rid of the chevy billboard.

Shame about the 1500# tow rating though. I towed almost twice that with no trailer brakes, did fine. Better than my s10 blazer towing at its max rating.

Yeah it is after all a four cylinder unibody car. It's a very strong one but it is what it is.

She hates cars, but I would totally drive one, still kick around the idea of getting one...they look kinda cool with a little lift on them. Bummer the new ones don't have a manual trans.

It isn't too terrible looking. Paint that silver crossbar black would help make the CHEVROLET logo disappear. 35-37" tires would help balance it out too.

Yea but those dumb square wheelwells won't fit that size tire without massive lift. The Ram and SD will fit 37s almost stock with the right wheels.

GM trucks are working their way out of relevance. Just like Toyota and Nissan. The only manufacturers actually trying these days are Ford and Ram and they are killing it.

and the forrester has no relevance in this thread.

Sure it does...arguably more than enough vehicle than what most people need, as most of the pickups sold to private parties rarely haul anything. I loose count how many empty bed trucks I see. We in 'Murica care about image...why else have the grills grown so much? :)

Gen 3 ended in 2009, the 4th gen has been in production since 2010, going on 9 years. These new or the last of the 4th gen rams are very solid trucks. Aftermarket has been great to them and there is allot of stuff available since they have been around so long.
