Sweet! They really are bright, sometimes I have trouble looking at mine at night lol.

The reverse lights are very bright but even with leds the tinted windows make it hard for me to see at night as well I had my wife test mine out while I was behind the truck so I could make sure they were working properly before I got it inspected and they were almost blinding.

I have a double din DVD player and I have HIDs with ballasts and I get no static. My power antenna has never worked and I have it pushed all the way down and I still get HD radio signal. Mines a pioneer head unit.
On a side note I still want to swap out all my interior lights with led because of you! Ha ha.

I was reading online that the lower quality hids and leds are the ones that cause rfi and its funny cause I paid $150 for my lights and im kinda wondering whats considered lower quality. Ive seen hids for like $50 and think that maybe those might cause rfi but not $150 leds lol. Idk its my luck I guess lol.

You should totally swap your interiors for leds, its a nice upgrade to the incodecsent bulbs.

I know I want to swap them out. But I will need to purchase tires before anything else. I think I paid less the $50 for my HIDs.

Man im with ya, next purchase will be tires. Unfortunately I gotta wait until I get taxes. Then I will do tires, timing belt, water pump, pulleys, lower ball joints, shocks, rear brakes and rotors fuel level sensor, rear cam seals, valve cover gaskets...shewww! Uncle sam better be nice this year if im gonna get all this done.

Lol I know. My wife isnt thrilled about that list either lol. It just rolled 160k. The timing belt water pump and idler pulley was changed at 114k so its getting close, I could probably stretch it another 10k but...famous last words lol cam seals and valve covers are leaking so bad that I get that oil smell everytime I drive it.

Gonna try and get this done next week.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for the job? Also I heard somewhere that the cam postion sensor is in the driver side and needed to be changed when the seal is replaced...dealer said it didnt need to be buuuut...anyone know for sure?

There is only one cam seal (passenger head). It can be swapped in 5-10 min. Two 10 or 12 mm bolts. The driver cam has the cam sensor and is sealed to the head. The only place for a leak is the cam sensor o ring. Really not common for these to leak.

So there is only 1 cam seal And its on the passenger side?

Yes. Promise me, if you use the o-ring, it will leak. Still need to get back there again and re-seal it with some RTB...

Edit: Actually, that may be 2001 specific. Not sure. Just be aware. If the drivers side seal has an electrical plug in it, that's the cam position sensor, and it take sealant to seal, not the o-ring.

The parts guy at the dealer said i wouldnt need sealant for my year...but he did say if I try and wiggle the plate back in it would slice the oring and it would leak.
