Howdy,

I thought I would post up and introduce myself. I have been lurking recently and recognize a few familiar avatars/members. I recently registered and figured it was time to contribute. Great forum ya'Il have here! I've been into overlanding for some years and have had the pleasure of owning several Toyotas.

I am obsessed with Land Cruisers, more specifically, my affliction pertains to the FJ55 variety. Hopeless, I am. Anyhoo, I own two Cruisers. The first is my Trail Pig, 1970 FJ55, with some doo dads, and my other rig, the Princess Pig is a 1977 FJ55, with some doo dads. Enough about me and my rigs, how about some Cruiser porn?!

Howdy Charles! Glad you found me here. Where are you currently? How is the FJ45LV restorification going? I definitely plan to bring a pig next year to the McGrew, and hopefully my Princess Pig! I was quite disappointed that there were no piggies this year...I hope to meet you on the trail again soon.

Howdy Charles! Glad you found me here. Where are you currently? How is the FJ45LV restorification going?

We're down in Guatemala, got here on August 7. The FJ45LV is going slow since there were more students wanting wood shop than auto shop and I can't be in two places at once. I'm doing a little work on the 45LV today.

I am having trouble posting pics. I am familiar with the 'manage attachments' tab, how to browse and upload, but each time I try it claims the forum is having difficulties, yadda, yadda, yadda. Is this a temporary thing until I get enough posts or something? What's the secret? Please enlighten me.

I am planning on cruisin' down to Pismo Beach, California for the seventh annual Surf 'N Turf in early November. I plan to take my time on the return trip while surfing and checking out the Cali/Oregon coast. If it all happens I would like to share pics with folks. We'll see. Anyone else heading down for this event?
