Trasharoo Sighting

I saw a Trasharoo on the back of a tan FJC on the 210E yesterday afternoon. I wonder if it's anyone we know? :)

From my usage thus far, I think it would be very helpful to have a hang-loop in the center top of the 'roo.
A) it would make carrying a load of trash easiser (as is, there isn't much to really grab on top, okay - you can grab the main straps, but that's a two handed operation)
B) it would make hanging it from a branch (in bear country) that much easier.
C) it would make storing it easy, just hang it on the garage wall.

It seems like a piece of the MOLLE webbing could be sewn into the top main cross-web to create a very cheap loop.

Maybe this makes it a bit too much like an actual backpack feature, but I think it would prove to be very handy.

Just a friendly suggestion.

James, It's been mentioned before and thank you for the suggestion. It's something i've been wanting to add for a while, so we'll look at adding that on our next production run. Every time i make a batch i try and make an upgrade at no charge to the end user. It's a fine line trying to keep the cost down while at the same time improving it and adding features.

Ah yes, I'm familiar with that particular fine-line.

I forgot to say, other than that minor item, I've really liked the product.

Dave, it was nice meeting you, Yoshi and Dixie at Tierra Del Sol. :victory:

Roo made it back to Mesa, AZ on the back of my FJ, :smiley_drive:

Thanks for the mounting tip. :ylsmoke:

Just picked one up from your South Carolina Dealer Southeast Overland. Looks like a great product and it gets people excited about cleaning up the trail. GREAT IDEA, thanks!!!

The Trasharoo has been a great addition, especially with both the boys still being in diapers. Definitely money well spent.

Apologies for not reading all 36 pages of this thread, but I have a question. I have a new Trasharoo, used it on White Rim, worked great, but am going to northern Minnesota this weekend and the thought of bears occurred to me...I would think that trash bin hanging off the vehicle would be a bear magnet while camping...how do you deal with that?

Yeah, I figured there weren't any magic answers, but thought I'd ask. I'm going to be sleeping inside the Trooper so I would rather not bring the trash in with me.
