haha no wonder why I like it so much! :sombrero:

FYI: Red and green are complimentary colors, they're opposite each other on the color wheel.

When you're a three-Trasharoo guy . . .

Having three trucks, I figured I needed three Trashroos, but had a (slight) brainstorm before I left for the North Cascades that I can recommend for the consideration of any of you with rear seats but only one passenger.

Here's the typical Trasharoo on the back of the Tacoma:

We found that this Trasharoo was especially great for carrying the folding chairs; we could have them out in seconds anytime we stopped.

But I also figured out that if I strapped the other Trasharoos around the split folding back seats, it'd go a long way toward organizing the interior:

I used the black one to hold all of the extra jackets, hats, gloves, etc. we might need in the mountains, while the OD one held two sleeping bags and a pillow for passenger naps. Plus the pockets on the Gen 2 model were great for holding stuff we wanted to get to quickly, like the sunscreen.

THE TRASHAROO . . . It's not just for trash. :sombrero:

we use ours to help recycle beverage cans on the trail...trashbag in the roo...and slip the cans between the bag and the roo..so the cans are in the bottom safe and sound while the trash is put in the dumpster...

I figure by the end of the year..the recycled cans will have paid for the roo!! normaly they get thrown in with the regular trash and not recycled..:victory:

Just want everyone to know that we are once again SOLD OUT of the Black color Trasharoos.

We are going to be finishing another production run by the end of the month so we are probably looking at 6-8 weeks realistically for them to be in our warehouse. We are also working on some small improvements as well as some industrial grade UV protection to prevent sun fade.

If you desire a black bag, you can do one of two things. Call one of our great dealers and see if they have one in stock or we still have Tread Lightly! branded bags available for purchases on our website. They are $49.99 and $5.00 goes to the TL org.

Thanks all for your continued support!

A whole box of Trasharoos showed up on our doorstep today. (part of the Toontoys/RMLCA group buy). What a fantastic thing. It really would be a bargain at twice the price. I'm looking forward to getting it mounted. No more USPS mailbags for me.

Yeah they're fine to leave on full time. We leave ours on 24/7.

On the fading issue im working as we speak to have the next shipment UV coated. The black bags are fading faster than we ever thought possible. Especially for those along the coast and folks in the desert areas. The tan and green do fade, just not as noticeable and not as quickly.

I was worried about that so with mine I just leave it off the truck until its needed...

Bought mine a few months back and finally got to use it last weekend. Don't know how I ever got along without it.

Expo this or Expo that, but awash in 'Roos is where it's at.

I was pretty proud of my interior Trasharoos (see photo a few posts back), but leave it to the inventor to see Yet Another Opportunity . . .

Dave's storing my Yamaha sidecar rig at his place until I get it shipped up here, and apparently the sight of an empty sidecar butt was too good for him to pass up. :)

Seriously, it looks like a really useful addition. I'm off to post up on Advrider.

Way to go, Dave.
