don't roos have their pouches on the front ?

Nice idea- and add one, 2 or three horizontal straps, sewn only in the middle of the back

helps with mounting- ie for the ladder
ballooning when empty and compression when full

to stop that flapping sail effect when underway

Nice and best wish's from sunny Oman

Wow!

Good for you guys!

I posted the link to a national mail list, hope you get even more interest out of that.

Now where to hang one when lacking a vertically mounted spare.........
I should probably have one just in case, right?

Put me down for a tan one

Tan is not produced yet, however i will let you know if we decide too. This isn't our full time gig so i want to see how the black bags go first before i start producing more in a different color and take more risk shelling out more $.

Yes the roos pouches are upfront.. that isn't the first time i've heard that nor the last :D

Great idea. The bags are already produced so any changes would have to be on the next go around. Thank you for the advice and kind words.

Hmmm....Could probably take the straps around the two center posts on an ARB and put the bag up front. :victory: Who needs a front licence plate showing offroad...or a rear one for that matter! :smiley_drive:

Got mine in today and the quality is really good. The quality even flowed into the interior pocket as everything was finished like a professional product should be. I would have liked a heavier duty zipper, but I am really picky with zippers. I can't wait to get out and use it. Thanks.:wings:

Got mine. Cool product. This should come in handy for upcoming National Public Lands Day, September 26, 2009. (No affiliation, just trying to contribute/support :D )

Now just to get my rear bumper/tire carrier changes finished up and get it all put back on the 4runner...

Gotta add that the logo is even obviosly of good quality.

I will let my guys know. They worked on those bags for nearly 2 days straight. They will appreciate hearing that.

Thank you for supporting a great cause and a great day. Hopefully tomorrow we'll have the Tread Lightly membership brochures to send with every bag from now on too.

Absolutely impressed by the product in hand. Thanks!

Awesome Kurt! I can't believe that the bags made it to Utah so fast!

I have to say I had been eyeballing these type of bags since my first copy of Australian 4WD Magazine. Received mine yesterday. All the straps are stoutly sewn to the bag and the bag itself appears to be high quality. Nice job Dave.

Thanks Allen, it means a lot to hear that.

Mine made it to Oregon today. Times . . . whatever we're up to . . . on the high quality. Much nicer than the general run of this sort of product, what with everything nicely trimmed off, the covers over the buckles and so on. I just have to find the optimum place for it. (Maybe I can strap it to the Jeep's hood and save the money that was going to go for blackout vinyl. :sombrero:)

It's a big sucker and seems plenty useful just as a general hauling bag. Looks to handle a decent amount of downed wood for the campfire in backpack mode, or maybe 2-3 toddlers. :) THANKS, ADVENTUREDUO!
