Noise wasn't really increased, at all.......see how it sounds on the highway tomorrow

This was the only odd part of the instructions........10A and 10B.........I did not see the need for the hose barb and used the NPT plug

My truck is a 2012!?

After having the Bank Ram Air installed for a few weeks now, there is a definite increase in power

I can easily break the tires loose and even chirp them shifting up to 3rd

I just bought a Timbren FR1504D SES for $115

New, just needs a bolt kit....which shouldn't be much at all, from a local hardware store

With my truck's 3" tall rear blocks, the factory rear bumpstop is right around 6" away from the axle

This might put the Timbren 2" away from the away axle, but I am ok with that gap.......Timbren says that there should be a ½” to 1 ½” gap between rubber spring and axle to ensure unloaded ride quality

I hope they do what you want them to do...

The more I see guys doing things to their rear suspension (air bags, Timbren bump stops, traction bars, yada yada yada), it only increases my satisfaction that I went with Deaver springs. Every issue I see guys chasing down has been eliminated on my truck since I installed them. Cheap? No, nothing worth having usually is cheap. "Buy the best and cry only once" is a time and money saving adage.
.
So, for everyone who wants to eliminate (I mean 'gone') any rear suspension issues, especially with an F150, the Deavers are THE way to go. IMHO.

HTH!

I have no issues with the factory rear leaf packs, in fact, I am impressed that I can load up 2,500 pounds in the bed and the truck handled it, GREAT

The Timbrens are just an added level of safety, to help the truck handled those heavy loads

I pulled a Lake Michigan Deep-V fishing boat a few weeks ago, roughly 5800 pounds on a dual axle trailer..........barely sagged

Spending $1300 new leaves is not in my plan.......totally unnecessary, for me

Next on the plan, is to delete the tailgate pole with a patch panel, remove the factory bedliner, and have LineX sprayed

I found a used tailgate access panel, so I can finally remove the plastic tailgate liner and the stripper pole

Should here next week

The cap will come off the bed soon, along with the factory bedliner...........so that everything can be sprayed with a bedliner.

I love LineX, but hate the price.....I am currently exploring other options and prices

Subtle front end change........from the bright blue oval grill emblem to a grey and black emblem

Subtle, but nice

Picked up this used panel........time for the tailgate pole delete

Going to take everything off the tailgate and see how it fits........just need to get some 6mmx10mm bolts to attach it

My old 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 had 3" wide rear leaf springs......I measured the F150 today, and also found the same 3" width

Onto the Timbren install.........I have 2" gap from the bottom of the Timbren to the top of the axle tube

Total install was 30 minutes and total Timbren cost is about $135

I decided to try out this AFE Silver Bullet TB Spacer today

http://afepower.com/afe-power-46-33017-silver-bullet-throttle-body-spacer

For $40, why not...........took 20 minutes to install and it was a very easy 20 minutes at that

No noise increase..........I will give it 2-3 week and see how it does

I have an AFE Bladerunner Charge Pipe also waiting to be installed, after the TB spacer is ran for a while

Onto some quick pics
