Well, they finally offered it for units with only Garmin Data Card capability.
They only have the West and SW covered for now:

Ive visited some online GPS stores and none have it yet. Im pumped they have the 24k version since Ill be keeping my 276c strictly off highway use when I can get an "on the road" GPS. With the Garmin offering inexpensive units, I dont see any use in updating my current City Navigator - I can buy the newest entry level model with some of the newest bells and whistles!
