Yes, I might just do that instead, since the body shop used wires that were too short and they look ugly, and I'm going to have to clip them anyway, I might just wire some resistors in-line.
Anybody know the wattage of the stock 4runner turn signal bulbs? I know I could look in my owner's manual but I rode the motorcycle to work today so I don't have it with me.

Have you considered converting your corner lights into turn signals? It would clean things up nicely.

A MUCH better idea, with the added benefit of making the turn signal somewhat visible from the side.

I've thought about it but I prefer having a dedicated turn signal. Plus the LED's are already on there.

I would leave the running light in there, as well as insert the new turn signal light... There's room for both.

You could probably do the corner light conversion and keep your dedicated LED turn signals. This would add the load necessary to slow your OEM blinker down to where it was before and increase turn signal visibility

Update: Painted and trimmed!
So the mods continue - I spray painted the body-colored parts that were below the headlights flat black so they'd blend in, and then I used a pair of snips to trim the fender liner. I think the result is a much "cleaner" look:
I still have a bit of work to do, I want to lengthen the turn signal wires so I can hide them under the bumper.
Don't know if you can tell but the license plate actually mounts on the skid plate below the winch mount, so it's out of sight but technically "legal" since it's on the bumper and visible from the front.

Another thought about covering up all that unsightly stuff behind the bumper is to add some plate to the top of the bumper. That's what I did with my Trail Gear bumper and it definitely helped clean it up a lot.

I wondered what a tube bumper would look like if it was plated in on the front, I always liked how the BudBuilt sliders looked with the diamond plate kickouts.
