New vs Original Conqueror UEV trailer build quality?

Hey all, Are the new conqueror trailers that are imported from China really that much worse than the originals that were build in South Africa? I am looking around and the (very few) that are for sale, the SA ones are the same price as some of the newer or 1yr old 440s and 490s that are available. Are the prices because the SA ones are that much better than the new ones or what gives?

The following website is owned or at least linked to OBI. I thought all Conqueror were mfged in china. Are you sure that they make models in SA?

Are you referring to the ones in Indiana? I keep coming across their ad in facebook marketplace as I look for our new camping platform. Price is attractive, set up not so much, but I keep thinking scam. Made in China and assembled here has that add up though.

I am sure these are the OBI china made versions.

I spoke to the guy in Indiana and for $21.9k for an OBI built rig is very tempting. The SA built ones im referring to are the older ones. I.e. buying a new china built vs buying used SA built (all thats available)
