Newbie question about Dry Ice in a Cooler

I have a 48-quart Rubbermaid cooler that usually keeps stuff cold using regular ice for 3-5 days, depending on temps. I'd like to try using it to keep stuff frozen/cold for 6-8 days. Is there a generally-accepted ratio for the amount of dry ice I should use for a given size cooler? What's the minimum amount (approximately) you think I should get?

I tried searching, but I can't seem to get the Search to work that well today for some reason

Make sure you store it in a well ventilated area. Dry ice can raise the level of Carbon Dioxide to dangerous levels quickly in a closed area.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I'm planning to put some extra styrofoam or something in the cooler to insulate it better which should hopefully slow it's rate of gassing out at the same time.
