Here is my Nissan....

1983 Patrol. Imported from Germany in about 1987 by the original German owner. Lived in Bakersfield, SoCal until I bought it in early 2004. This is a SWB, LHD, diesel, hardtop Patrol...very very rare in the USA! I picked it up for $1500 because the owner thought the engine was toasted. Rebuilt injectors, fixed leaky fuel lines, new fuel filter, ect and she is still going! :victory:

Before I bought it....

In late 2007 I decided to build this up into my off-road weapon....this is the result.

to a NV4500 using a Scout diesel kit with an Atlas 4spd behind that. After that is complete and the new engine in the truck will be almost done! The engine in it is a factory SD33 N/A in-line 6 diesel. The engine being built is a factory turbo SD33T that is highly modified.

I LOVE YOUR PATROL!!!!!!! I read your whole build on another board (the one with all the dillusional Cruiser haters...) and was really just blown away with what you did with it. Such a cool unique truck eh. Those are my favorite Patrols body-style wise. Plus I love that you built the hell out of that neat SD33T motor. Trualy an amazing build, the Portal Axles are just the cherry on top. Glad to see you over here on the Expo.

Cheers

Thanks! We only have one Toyota hater on my forum. He is dillusional though it is true. He drives not only Patrols but also Mitsubishis but hates Toyotas! He is an alright guy though, I have met him in real life.

THat's a great looking X you've got there... I'd love to see that truck with the VQ-6 and the newer tougher frame underneath it, but that is still a great looking, low-key yes, but GREAT looking truck. Congrats mate.

Cheers

I mostly lurk, but here are a few pics of the wife's truck. It's an 08 Off Road with a 6 speed :smiley_drive:

About a week after we got it:
