Nissan Titan/FRP Flippac Build

Spoyla Awning

I added an Eezi-Awn Spoyla awning thanks to Equipt. It was the perfect size awning for the rear of my truck at 57" wide (59" for the case). It is 83" long so it still provides a decent amount of shade. I flush mounted it straight to the back of the Flippac shell just above the lift door using some automotive bolt and 1.5 inch flat washers for stability. I still need to loosen it up and apply some silicone to seal it for weather but the sun was going down and I just wanted it done for now.

Overall Equipt was a pleasure to do business with again. I'm very pleased with the results and can't wait to check it out tailgating tomorrow at Irwindale Speedway.

Very nice! I really like how the FP looks on your truck, follows the truck lines much better than on mine.

Does the awning cause any problems with the rear window when opened? Looks like the window would push up on the awning, making things a little unstable.

No, the rounded rear of the case folds down (see the middle pic). The window opens to about level with the ground and hits the case and stops. It doesn't bother the awning at all. With the awning closed, the window opens all the way.

Looks great! I had the same question. Any pics with the rear window open and awning stowed/deployed?

New Rainfly from SLO Sails

It has 4 vents and 2 windows. I just got it so I haven't had any way to test it. It's just too sunny! :sombrero:

That rainfly looks to be an improvement over OEM.

I'm not too sure about the vents. Under the little peaks, they just cut a big hole. Standing on the ground, they look like they could leak but I guess it would have to take a fairly sideways rain. It just surprised me to see the holes.
