To all that care.... The studies I listed are EV specific ,credit several different sources not just one... nor do I post my opinion only, like others.
The EV is defiantly the future.
I prefer to wait until the bugs , which are many, are worked out of the equation.
For those that advocate jumping on board now because they feel that all of the problems will be corrected by future tech......
I've herd that argument before. It's partially why the world is so screwed up now.....

I'm not scared of EVs, and I'm perfectly happy to let the rest of you true believers be the beta testers and work out the bugs. When the technology and the economics have been worked out, I may become a convert. Or maybe not. I may be dead before EVs are completely practical, but I don't expect that to be any time soon.

Once you go modern EV. Thats pretty much all you'll want to drive on a daily basis. Assuming your enviormentally smart and live close to work.
Even plugin hybrids have a big value. My wifes plugin Fusion does weekends 100% EV mode. We just put solar on the house. Bought our own system hired a local electrician to install. Cheaper and superior set up than solar so and so company. Mixed use driving the Fusion returns 60-80mpg! Not charged it does about 40mpg averages. Yes the tiny 7kwh battery is worth a near double mileage boost. We typically see 700 miles out of 11gallons of gas.

This works for me. I do hope it comes happens sooner then later, I hope solar becomes more practical too. I would love to be able to make my own power and fuel for my vehicles.
